Eden Valley Poultry Inc. is seeking a Live Supply Technician to join our team. You will be reporting to the Live Supply Procurement Manager. As a Live Supply Technician, you will aid in the collection/verification of live weight poultry data and will have frequent contact with EVP producers, Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and industry stakeholders. As a processor of chicken and turkey for our Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island farmers, Eden Valley Poultry is unique in the industry. The Live Supply Technician's key responsibilities: Collect, analyze, and report data related to poultry supply, weights, and production trends. Coordinate with producers and industry partners to schedule quality poultry for processing (weekly, short- term, long-term). Communicate with internal teams (Production, QA, Veterinary, Live Haul) to ensure accurate and timely information flow. Organize poultry weighing and predict bird weights to support planning and logistics. Maintain and update producer databases and scale server data; track and submit reports including flock info, prescriptions, and regulatory forms. Lead data tracking for Grain Fed/RWA Audits and ensure compliance with internal SOPs and CFIA requirements. Promote a safe and compliant work environment, following GMP, BRC, and all company policies. Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of administrative experience; post-secondary diploma or equivalent required. Strong multitasking, time management, and attention to detail. Comfortable with changing software systems and maintaining accurate data. Effective communicator with strong writing and reporting skills. Team player with professional interpersonal skills. Analytical with strong problem-solving abilities. Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with industry software is an asset. Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
