Eden Valley Poultry Incorporated is seeking a Packaging Production Supervisor to
join our team.
Reporting to the Packaging Manager, you are responsible for the supervision, coordination, and
effective scheduling of hourly workers to meet production targets, quality standards, uptime and
downtime goals, and operational performance expectations

As a Packaging Production Supervisor, you will:

Supervise daily production operations to meet targets and performance goals.
•
Monitor labour utilization, productivity, and downtime.
•
Resolve operational issues and implement process improvements.
•
Coordinate production activities to ensure efficient workflow.
•
Maintain accurate production records, reports, and KPI tracking.
•
Lead weekly team meetings and communicate operational updates.
•
Approve employee time, attendance, and scheduling requirements.
•
Train, coach, and support employee development and performance.
•
Manage onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
•
Ensure compliance with company policies and collective agreement requirements.
•
Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
•
Monitor departmental budgets and operational performance.
•
Promote and enforce health, safety, food safety, and quality standards.
•
Participate in audits and implement corrective actions when required.
•
Provide leadership support and departmental coverage as needed.
Requirements:
•
Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
•
Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience.
•
Strong leadership, communication, and employee development skills.
•
Knowledge of food safety, health & safety, and regulatory requirements.
•
Proven problem-solving and continuous improvement experience.
•
Proficient with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.
•
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
•
Results-oriented with strong organizational and decision-making skills.
•
Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
•
Physically capable of working in a manufacturing environment and lifting up to 50 lbs.
