EDEN VALLEY POULTRY OPPORTUNITY: MOFFETT FORKLIFT OPERATOR Eden Valley Poultry Incorporated is seeking a Moffett Forklift Operator to join our dedicated team of drivers. We are a Canadian company - unique in the industry. We process and market chickens and turkeys for Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island farmers. As a Moffett Operator you are responsible for the safe loading and unloading of modules of live poultry from farms in NS and PEI. Your commitment will ensure adherence to the highest standards of animal welfare. Your responsibilities also include the accurate and timely completion of all paperwork required for the role. Requirements: • A valid Nova Scotia Class 5 with Trailer Endorsement. • Completion of Grade 12, preferred. • Ability to work various start times according to a collection schedule, location of birds and weather. • Ability to work overtime, weekends and/or holiday when required. • A proven commendable driving record. • A strong commitment to health and safety, effective troubleshooting skills, and the desire to work in a team environment. • Previous experience operating heavy equipment would be an asset.
