Workforce Management CoordinatorReports To: Operations ManagerSummaryThe Workforce Management Coordinator will be responsible for performing all the activities needed to maintain a highly productive workforce, including optimizing the productivity of employees on individual, departmental, and entity-wide levels. Duties include scheduling, tracking of skills-based training, overtime and KPI analysis, Continuous Improvement, coordinating with HR on recruitment and policy adherence and assisting in the company’s Return to Work Program.Core Competencies•Accountability & dependability•Communication•Attention to detail•Organization•Teamwork•Leadership•Analytical skills•Cross functional teamsJob Duties•Monitoring sick line and filling positions as needed from the call-in list •Communicating with all departments to ensure all positions are covered by department and shift•Posting jobs when required for Production, in coordination with HR•Tracking job abilities/training •Posting weekly sign-up sheets, detailing which employees are on vacation. •Monitoring which call-in employees have met their maximum shift allotment for the week to minimize OT•Enter schedules into time tracking program as employees are booked for shifts•Responsible for tracking attendance issues, call-in policy violations and related discipline•Monitoring/enforcing RTW Policy and scheduling employees with restricted duties•Participate in interviewing applicants for positions throughout the plant.•Work with unit supervisors to ensure consistency in dealing with scheduling, attendance policies procedures, and all discipline issues at the first stage.•Identify, investigate, correct and document potential environmental and safety problems.•Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations to minimize industrial injuries and meet regulatory requirements.•Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other units.•Provide information for production plans to ensure that production objectives are met.•Prepare production and other reports.Requirements•High School Diploma preferred•Previous production work considered an asset.•Exceptional organization skills•Exceptional MS Excel skills•Experience with Attendance Management software an asset•Commitment to accuracy and detail oriented. •Strong communications skills•Ability to perform under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.Work Conditions•Highly repetitive tasks•Attention to detail•Numerical and data analysis tasks•Collaborative, interdepartmental duties
