Sanitation Supervisor Eden Valley Poultry Incorporated is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor to join their team of dedicated professionals.  Eden Valley Poultry strives to be an employer of choice.  We focus on continuous improvement, contributing to the well-being of the community, minimizing our impact on the environment and remaining focused on exceptional food safety and quality standards.  The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for the management of plant cleaning, and compliance with CFIA, BRC, QA and HACCP policies and procedures to ensure food safety. Responsibilities will include the supervision and training of staff in sanitation methods, safety, policies and procedures, as well as the identification and correction of potential work problems and health and safety issues.  In the course of their duties the Sanitation Supervisor will prepare a range of reports and will coordinate and effectively schedule workers to meet sanitation requirements. Requirements: Post-secondary degree/diploma in a related field. Minimum of 3 years' supervisory experience with demonstrated motivating, training, appraising and general supervisory skills with preference given to supervisory experience in a processing or manufacturing environment. Supervise, coordinate and effectively schedule the activities of workers. Maintain a positive working environment and foster good relations with the employees. Identify, investigate, correct and document potential safety and environmental problems. Ensure compliance with all company and regulatory product quality standards, sanitation standards and food safety standards. Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity. Monitor, audit, and make adjustments as necessary, to processing and packaging equipment cleaning procedures to ensure optimal operation of equipment. Work closely with management and production personnel on sanitation problems recommending changes to improve sanitation policies, procedures, and standards. Compile regular reports regarding audits, inspections, sanitation violations, and steps taken to resolve deficiencies. Develop and train sanitation staff. Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other departments. Requisition materials and supplies. Prepare reports, develop and manage operating budget for area of responsibility. May also supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of other workers.
